Site Problems, SAM Rebuild Posted By: JuggleNuts on Friday, July 25, 2003
Just realized that our entire contents of the includes directory got deleted somehow, and that is not a good thing. We're working on getting it back up soon.

Also, we've decided to rebuild SAM from the ground up, so expect a new release within the coming weeks. More news as it developes further.

Updates...or Lack Thereof Posted By: JuggleNuts on Thursday, April 10, 2003
Sorry for going so long without giving any more updates. The project is at somewhat of a standstill at the moment for various reasons. One being that pretenda and I have not had that much free time, what with work and other things. Another reason is that we have had next to no feedback. One person had some for us. That was it, and it came after our initial release. If you are finding things that you would like to see added / changed / etc, please, drop us a line either by e-mail or on our project page.

I will try to make some sort of update soon with SAM. I have some new ideas to pump into it, but I'm not sure when it will be done.

Version 1.0B Posted By: JuggleNuts on Monday, January 20, 2003
I decided to release 1.0B because Pretenda did an upgrade to his already-awesome install file. If you already have downloaded and installed version 1.0 there isn't really any reason to download this, unless you want to update your vercheck.php file. Otherwise, this is just to help clarify for the installation.

You can download an update by going here and clicking on the sam_1-0B_update file. This updates your vercheck.php file so it shows you have the latest version. Otherwise, just grab the sam_1-0B file for a fresh install.

Here's the changes:
  • Updated Install file for those that had an AdminMod database prior to install.

  • Updated vercheck.php to show changes since last version if user's version is not current.
  • Install.php Posted By: pretenda on Monday, January 20, 2003
For all of you who have already got your mySQL tables set up, there is now a new install.php file for download in the downloads section. Put this file in the root of your SAM install and replace the old one. You will have another couple of options on the main page, just follow the onscreen prompts and you will be set.

Please Note: This is only for version 1.0 [first release] All subsequent releases will have this file in the zip or tarball.

SAM version 1.0 Released Posted By: JuggleNuts on Saturday, January 18, 2003
Well, after some last-minute bug fixes, SAM version 1.0 has been released. If you have any problems / questions / comments with this release, please feel free to post about it in the Tracker section. Enjoy, and hopefully the next version will be moving along soon.

Version 1.0 Soon to be Released Posted By: JuggleNuts on Wednesday, January 15, 2003
Expect to see a release of version 1.0 this weekend. It doesn't have all the features that we hoped for, for the initial release, but we want to get it out in the world. Version 1.0 will allow you to add/remove/view all entries to the tables you have made. We also decided to make a page that checks to see if the version you are running is the most current or not.

In the next version, we are wanting to add in an edit feature, and possibly a link to an sql dump of the database for backup purposes.

So check back for version 1.0 this weekend. If something comes up and we are unable to make a release, we will try to get it out a few days after the weekend.
